Chinese Brush Painting Sumi-e Classroom

Simple Zen: Chinese Painting Sumi-e Beginner's Seminar
A two hour small group experience class that covers: 
- The essentials supplies of Chinese Painting (the brush, the ink stone, the ink stick, the paper, color paint)
- The beauty of lines (learn how to create different basic lines and shapes) 
- A step-by-step painting in class (topics varies each session) 

Fee:
Adult - $50 per person 
​Children - $35 per person 

*For virtual class, you can pay one adult fee per sign-in. So if everyone is together and learn via one screen, you can. You just need to purchase an adult ticket. 

Material Fee:  
In-person class: shared materials included
Virtual class: material can be purchased online.  Roughly $30 to $45 depends on how much things you would like.  

Class materials 
* Materials will be distributed during the class. Materials should be purchased before class starts
- Basic brush set
- Chinese Ink
- A set of ink dishes
- Chinese painting colors
- Rice paper
